189 Enjoy Fishing Day at Oneida City Park A total of 189 registered youngsters enjoyed the sixth annual “Fishing Day” at the Oneida City Park last Saturday. In all twenty-three young anglers were awarded prizes for hooking the largest fish in six different species in four age categories. All participants were given a T-shirt for signing-in at the event. Prizes for the largest bluegill, perch, crappie, bass, catfish and trout were awarded to anglers from 3 to 6 years of age, 7 to 9; 10 to 12; and 13 to 15. In the three to six age division, winners included Andrew Flint, Travis Duncan, Colby Wisner, Isaiah Flint, Forrest Yancy and Kennedy Reed. Winners in the seven to nine age group were Sara Newport, Cody Nelson, Cody Burchfield, Windle Newport, Marcus Burchfield, Angelica Bowling and Lacey Sims. Megan Strunk, Ryan Keeton, Dustin Powell, Jeremy Barnes and Joseph Chambers took home prizes in the 10 to 12 age group. In the upper age division, 13 to 15, winners included Mark Watters, Quenton Acres, Bradley Bowling, Wesley Muse and Kandace Watters. Check ibebet.
