Roger Scott Wright, age 46, of the Winona Community, departed this life on Sunday, June 4, 2017. He was born October 6, 1970 in Campbell County, Tennessee to Roger L. Wright and Linda S. Wright. He was a Member of the Beech Fork Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, four wheeling and ginsenging, he also worked as a coal miner for 29 years, with Kopper Glo Mining, LLC for over 6 years.
He was preceded in death by his papaws, Dow Wright and Lonza McKamey.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Kaye Lawson Wright, children: Travis Scott Wright, Brad Harness and Lawrence Harness; parents: Roger L. Wright and Linda S. Wright; (5) grandchildren: Samantha, Nathan, Brayden, Nevaeh and Kodah; brother, Jeffery Wright and wife Michelle; sister, Rebecca Marlow and husband Keith; special cousin, Robbie McKamey; special friend, Ronnie Hammock; several nieces, nephews, family and friends.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Tuesday Evening, June 6, 2017 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., in the Chapel of Four Oaks Funeral Home in Huntsville. Funeral service will be at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday Morning, June 7, 2017 at the Beech Fork Baptist Church on the Stoney Fork Road in Campbell County, Tennessee, with Bro. C. W. Fraker and Bro. Eugene Lay Officiating. Music will be provided by the Beech Fork Baptist Church Choir. Burial will follow in the Beech Fork Baptist Church Cemetery on Stoney Fork Road in Campbell County, Tennessee.
Pallbearers will Brad Harness, Lawrence Harness, Robbie McKamey, Gene McKamey, Keith Marlow and Jamie Wright.
