Volunteers Wanted: Obed WSR to Host Citizen Science Water Monitoring Project

Wartburg, TN (2018-09-05)  In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Wild and Scenic Rivers Act, Obed Wild and Scenic River is launching a volunteer-based citizen science water monitoring project.  Volunteers are needed to assist park staff in collecting water samples in the park and to process and analyze water samples.  The pilot project will focus on collection of E. coli bacteria samples at up to five sites in the Obed watershed.
