Healthy Hike: Fall Colors of the Obed – Hike the South Clear Creek Trail to the Great Roof, October 21

Wartburg, TN (2017-10-16)  The Obed Wild and Scenic River will be conducting a fall colors hike on Saturday, October 21, at 10 a.m. (ET). Rangers Rick Ryan and Veronica Greear will lead a moderate out-and-back hike of 2.5 miles total on the South Clear Creek trail to the Great Roof overlooking the Clear Creek gorge.  Along the way, the trail provides opportunities to follow several short side trails to scenic overlooks to see the spectacular walls of the Clear Creek gorge and enjoy the vibrant colors of the fall foliage.
