Early Tuesday morning, local authorities, along with a team from the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, and a representative of the medical examiner’s office returned to the scene. Utilizing a specially-trained canine, authorities scoured the landscape looking for other remains; however, none were found. Later in the day, local authorities, along with volunteers from the South Scott Fire Department and the Scott County Rescue Squad started the arduous task of walking through the woods looking for clues or other remains.
