According to an arrest warrant filed by Drug Agent Blake Murphy of the Oneida Police Department, Felecia Marie Mizell, 36, and her husband, Kevin Joel Mizell, 38, both of Plant City, FL, were arrested on Sunday on multiple drug charges after authorities responded to a call of a vehicle driving erratically in north Oneida and the occupants appeared to be fighting. The vehicle, stated the warrant, pulled off the highway near the Children’s Center of the Cumberlands, where the Mizell’s reportedly got into a verbal altercation. When Murphy arrived, the couple was reportedly still inside the vehicle and appeared to be arguing; however, Felicia Mizell reportedly quickly exited the vehicle and approached him. Mrs. Mizell, Murphy wrote, “appeared to be highly intoxicated but no smell of alcohol was present”.
After being asked for identification, Mrs. Mizell reportedly returned to the vehicle and retrieved her purse, in which, officer Murphy noticed what appeared to be a marijuana cigarette. Thereafter, Mr. Mizell got out the passenger side of the vehicle. As he exited, officer Murphy allegedly observed a baggy of white crystal-like substance in the floorboard.
After gaining consent from Mrs. Mizell to search the vehicle, authorities reportedly found two large and two small bags of marijuana, two small bags of methamphetamine, $459 in cash, and a variety of drug paraphernalia. Authorities also allegedly recovered eleven Oxycodone tablets and meth from Mrs. Mizell’s purse.
The pair was arrested on charges of possession of schedule II controlled substance for resale (two counts), possession of a schedule IV controlled substance for resale, possession of a schedule IV controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Felicia Mizell was also charged with driving on the influence and violation of the implied consent law.
