Trio Arrested Following Pot Bust in South Oneida

 

            Oneida, TN (2011-09-20) Three men face charges following a raid on a suspected drug house in south Oneida.

            Jeff Reagan, age 27, Brandon Reagan, age 28, and Mickey Thompson, age 23, all of Oneida were arrested Tuesday afternoon after authorities raided a suspected drug house on U.S. 27 in south Oneida.

            Acting on numerous complaints, Scott County Sheriff Mike Cross, Drug Agent Kris Lewallen, Sgt. Paul D. Adkins, and Deputy Eric Newport of the Scott County Sheriff’s Department and Patrolman Josh Kennedy of the Oneida Police Department raided a single story residential structure on Alberta Street just across from the Scott County Food Court shortly after noon on Tuesday.  Authorities didn’t just happen upon the home.  Officers had reportedly received numerous complaints about alleged drug activity at and near the home, including the alleged selling of weed to high school aged children.

            After getting consent to search the home, authorities allegedly found two-ounces of marijuana, along with three weapons, including a SKF assault rifle.

            Jeff Reagan was charged with felony possession of a schedule VI controlled substance (marijuana) for resale, possession of drug paraphernalia, going armed during the commission of a felony, and violation of the drug free school zone act (as the residence was near Landmark Christian Academy).

            Brandon Reagan was charged with simple possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

            Thompson was picked up on an unrelated violation of probation on a prior theft charge.
