According to an arrest warrant filed by Detective Randy Lewallen of the Scott County Sheriff’s Department, Jared Draughn and an unidentified male subject allegedly got into a physical altercation in front of his brother’s mobile home around 10:00 p.m. Sunday night.  As the pair fought, the elder brother, Jason Draughn, reportedly pulled out a sawed-off .22 caliber rifle, and pointed it at the subject, later identified as Ben Burchfield.  As the pair fought, Burchfield’s cousin, identified as Lance Burchfield, 34, of Oneida, reportedly approached Jason Draughn and attempted to disarm him.  As the two struggled for control of the weapon, the rifle reportedly discharged three times, striking Lance Burchfield once in the lower abdomen.  The other two shots reportedly struck the ground.
