Cherry Fork Trio Charged With Drug

The Scott County Sheriff’s Department, along with Oneida Police Department Drug Agent Blake Murphy, arrested Ronnie Phillips, 46, Anita Baird, 29, and Hershel Mason, age 35, last Thursday evening on a litany of drug-related charges. The trio was charged following the execution of a search warrant on suspicion of drug trafficking at trio’s Cherry Fork residence.
Authorities reportedly seized a variety of drugs and a large amount of cash at the home. Drugs seized included 87.5, 30 mg tablets of Percocet; 14, 2mg tablets of Xanax; and 16, 10mg hydrocodone tablets.
Phillips was charged with felony possession a schedule II controlled substance for resale, felony possession of a schedule III substance for resale, felony possession of a schedule IV substance for resale, tampering with evidence and violation of the drug free school zone act, as the residence was within 1/2 mile of Landmark Christian Academy.
Baird, who was wanted by the Oneida Police Department on outstanding drug charges from last week’s drug round up, was charged by the Scott County Sheriff’s Department with attempted possession of a schedule II controlled substance and theft of under $500.
Mason was charged with attempted possession of a schedule II controlled substance and theft of under $500.
