Personnel Changes Announced For New
School Year
Huntsville, TN (2011-08-11) With the new school year underway, Scott County Director of Schools Bill Hall announced a host of personnel changes for the 2011-2012 school year at the regularly scheduled meeting of the Scott County Board of Education held Thursday night in Huntsville.
In his personnel report to the Scott County Board of Education, Director Bill Hall informed the Scott County Board of Education of several personnel changes for the new school year.

Other school assignments included:
Burchfield Elementary – Cynthia Mabry, teacher; Amy Barnes, Special Education teacher assistant; and Melanie Muse, cook;
Huntsville Middle School – Stephen Burress, transferred from Robbins Elementary to PE
instructor and head football coach; Chasity Coffey,
teacher, Beth Butts, teacher assistant; Mary King transferred from attendance
monitor to secretary; and Misty Robbins transferred from teacher assistant to
attendance monitor. Jessica Boshears was hired as school nurse at the
Robbins Elementary – Gary Pike, custodian; and,
Winfield Elementary – Franklin Carroll, teacher assistant.
Countywide personnel changes included: Melody Chambers, coordinated school health assistant.
Substitute teachers hired in August included: Kayla Watson and Aaron Lloyd. Substitute cooks included: Linda Goad and Vanessa Kennedy.
At the school bus garage, several driver changes were made: Drivers reassigned included: Leon Posey, Jr., Danielle Rogers, Chad Rogers and Collette Hickey. Debra Keeton was moved from a special education route to a regular run, while Ulyous Hamby was transferred from full time bus driver to special needs. Esley Day was promoted from part time to full time driver status. Long time driver Roy Young retired in July, while Ricky Shelton and Tim Owens resigned.

action taken by the Board of Education included the creation of two new staff
positions, a custodian at Burchfield Elementary and a part time teacher at
