9^th Annual Jim Barna Memorial Golf Tournament June 3-4

Oneida, TN (2011-05-30) The 9^th Annual Jim Barna Memorial Golf Tournament presented by Miller Energy Resources to benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Scott County will be held Friday and Saturday, June 3-4, 2011 at the Oneida Municipal Golf Course.

“We are organizing our annual benefit golf tournament, and we would like and need you to join our event whether through sponsorship or participation,” stated Elizabeth Burress, Chairperson of the event. “There are many other organizations that would appreciate your contribution, but there may not be another one where you could make a more tangible difference in the life of a child who is allowed to spend time in a safe learning environment where he/she is taught to raise his expectations for him/herself,” she added.

The tournament format is a four man scramble with three flights (Friday afternoon, Saturday morning, and Saturday afternoon). Lunch will be provided on both days. Prizes are $200 for each flight winning team and $100 for the team in second place in each flight.

In addition to participating in the event, you may also sponsor it. Sponsorship levels and benefits include: Platinum, $1000 or more—team sponsorship, tee shirt sponsorship, green sponsor and golf towel sponsor; Team Sponsor, $400—4-member team with gift packs and lunches; T-Shirt Sponsor, $250—name recognition on souvenir shirt (limited spaces available; Green Sponsor, $200—name recognition on a tee box or hole; Friend Sponsor, $100—name recognition along the cart path; and Individual Package, $100—18 holes of golf, lunch and player gift pack.
