Litton Named President of PEC Board
Jim Litton, who won re-election to the Plateau Electric Cooperative Board of Directors last Saturday, was elected President of the Board on Monday, during the Board’s regular reorganizational meeting. Litton replaced Dr. Maxwell Huff, who stepped down from the lead role, ending a tenure that dated back to June 1983.
Litton, who has served on the Board of Directors for 30 years, outpolled former employee Linda Lay, 661 to 580 votes, in last Saturday’s election. Prior to his election to the President’s position, Litton had served as the Board’s Secretary/Treasurer.
As result of Litton’s new appointment, the office of Secretary/Treasurer was divided between two other members of the Board. Bill Hall was named the Board’s new Secretary, while Mark Kline was named Treasurer. Vic Davis will re-named the Board’s Vice-Chairman.
