Oneida Man Arrested On Drug Charges

Oneida, TN (2011-01-15) An Oneida man faces drug charges following a search of his west Oneida residence Saturday night.

Kerry R. Strunk, Jr., 40, of Oneida was arrested Saturday night following a search of his West Third Street home by local authorities. Strunk was charged with sale of a schedule II controlled substance and violation of a drug free school zone.

Around 7:30 p.m. Saturday night, officers from the Scott County Sheriff’s Department and Oneida Police Department executed a search warrant on Strunk’s home, located on West Third Street near Burchfield Elementary School. Inside the house, authorities allegedly found Percocet and Xanax tablets, along with metal detectors, police scanners and several items of drug paraphernalia.
