Plans are Complete for Senator Yager’s 26th Annual Chili Supper and Charity Auction

Plans for Senator Ken Yager’s 26th annual chili supper and silent auction are complete with several of Tennessee’s top officials planning to attend, including Governor Bill Lee and Lt. Governor Randy McNally.  The chili supper will take place on Friday, November 22nd at Roane State Community College’s Harriman campus in the Student Lounge from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. eastern.

“I am happy to sponsor the annual chili supper and silent auction to benefit a local non-profit,” said Senator Yager.  “This year we are pleased to support our local United Way.  This organization has a great impact in helping to improve the lives of many local citizens and we are very happy to support their efforts.”

Senator Yager served as Roane County Executive for 24 years (1982-2006).  He was elected in 2008 to Senate District 12 which includes Roane, Rhea, Scott, Morgan, Campbell, Fentress and Pickett Counties.

Tickets to the event are $5 at the door.  Admission for preschool age children is free.  Country music star Jimmy Fortune will also perform at the event.
