On November 1st, Oneida Police Officer Chad Jones was dispatched to the Big South Fork Medical Center emergency room for a patient trying to leave the ER. Upon arrival, Officer Jones spoke with the nursing staff and they stated that the individual, identified as Jeremy Caldwell, was being seen for psychological problems and was threatening to harm himself. Caldwell had made three attempts to leave the ER and was being very disruptive. Officer Jones observed Caldwell talking to himself and not acting right and seemed to be on some type of drug since there was no smell of alcohol on his person. Caldwell was arrested and charged with Public Intoxication and Disorderly Conduct. He was transported to the Scott County Justice Center for booking.
