On October 21st, Sgt. David Stephens, with the Oneida Police Department, responded to a call to Capital 3 Movie Cineplex in reference to two subjects at the business and dangerously intoxicated, per employees. Upon arrival, the pair, identified as Marlainna Terry and Joshua Wright, were in the parking lot near their vehicle. Both subjects were unsteady on their feet, had slurred speech, and were unable to complete most answers that were asked, due to rapidly changing the subject or forgetting the question. Both Terry and Wright stated they had been using suboxone earlier that day but thought the drug was exempt from being arrested for using. Both individuals were in a public place, under the influence of a controlled drug, and a danger to themselves and the public. Terry and Wright were arrested and charged with Public Intoxication.
