On August 11th, officers were dispatched to a residence on Fairway Lane. Dispatch received a call from a couple, identified as Mistie Smith and Allen Watters. Smith stated to dispatch that a male, identified as Zack Fry, was at their residence the night before using drugs. She also stated that Fry had locked them in the residence then left, keeping them from leaving. Upon arrival, officers observed a window busted out and the front door had been busted open with an axe. K9 Officer Toby Jeffers, with the Oneida Police Department, spoke with the couple who were observed as being extremely intoxicated. Smith and Watters stated to officers that Zack Fry locked them inside their residence and that they had to use an axe to bust the door open and busted out the bathroom window to try to leave the residence. While speaking with Smith, officers observed a set of drug scales lying on the floor and a bong lying on the table. Officers asked the couple if there were any other drugs in the residence and they stated no. Officers then observed two marijuana pipes beside the bed and a small silver container containing hash oil on the bedside table. Further search of the residence led to finding marijuana on the table beside the couch and shrooms on the counter by the sink. Shrooms were in Smith’s purse. Two bags of shrooms were stuffed in the couch. Both Smith and Watters admitted to taking the shrooms the night before. The couple were placed under arrest and charged with Possession of a Schedule I Drug (x2), Possession of a Schedule VI Drug, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. They were transported to the Scott County Justice Center for booking.
