Here’s good news: Mountain Peoples Health Council, serving Scott and surrounding counties since 1979 is expanding. Foundation ground preperation is near completion for a building which will house dentil and pediatrics services. The expansion on Mountain Peoples Health Council’s campus on Industrial Lane, fronts the administration office.
Mr James Lovett, Executive Administrator stated the weather had been some hold back, and plans call for building construction to begin some time between September 15th and October First. The building will house dentil services, with a large portion for pediatrics . A plaque type fixture in the administration office foyer says it all: Mountain Peoples Health Council is a proud member of the Tennessee Primary Care Association , together we work as a voice for access and expansion of primary health care”
Mountain Peoples Health Council has clinics in Norma, Elgin, Huntsville, Winfield and Oneida.
