Couple Charged with Alleged Domestic Assault

On July 29th, Officer Dalton Walden, with the Scott County Sheriff’s Office, was dispatched to Rugby Road in Robbins for a physical domestic assault.  Upon arrival, Officer Walden witnessed two individuals, identified as Sasha Oliver and Eric Anderson, covered in blood.  Captain Dennis Chambers was speaking with Oliver and Drug Agent Tyler Johnson was speaking with Anderson.  Oliver stated she had bought a 12 pack of beer earlier in the day and that she and Anderson had been drinking when Anderson took her phone and made contact with another female that he had previously cheated on her with and was gone from the residence for around an hour.  After Anderson arrived back home, she stated she was upset and threw a few things in the home and at some point she either fell into a window or punched a window cutting her hand.  Oliver also stated that Anderson grabbed her by the throat and put her on the ground and held her there for a second and then tried to leave with her phone and kids on foot.  Anderson stated to Agent Johnson that Oliver had hit him with the television while he was holding one of the children and scratched him on the neck while he was trying to keep her off of him.  Both Anderson and Oliver were arrested and charged with Domestic Assault (Simple) and transported to the Scott County Justice Center for booking.
