On July 23rd, dispatch received a call on a black Chevy that was all over the road. The caller stated he had followed the vehicle from Kentucky to Tennessee and it kept swerving in the lane of oncoming traffic. K9 Officer Toby Jeffers and Agent Bill Miller, with the Oneida Police Department came in contact with the vehicle on the backside of the four lane in Oneida. Agent Miller observed the vehicle cross the white line. Officer Jeffers conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle at the top of the four lane in Oneida. He spoke with the driver, identified as Bridget Marlow, and advised her for the reason for the stop. Officer Jeffers observed Marlow’s speech was slurred and asked her if she had taken any medication and she stated she had taken celexa. Marlow was asked to exit the vehicle. Officer Jeffers asked her if she would take the sobriety task and she consented. After the task was demonstrated to her, Marlow attempted the task and could not complete it. Marlow was read the Tennessee Implied Consent Advisement and she refused to give blood. She was arrested and charged with Driving Under the Influence, Registration Violation, and Violation of Implied Consent. Marlow was transported to the Scott County Justice Center for booking.
