Donald L. Marlow, age 71, of the Straight Fork Community, in Huntsville, Tennessee, departed this life on Friday, February 1, 2019 at his home with his loving family by his side. He was born February 3, 1947 to the late James and Nila Byrd Marlow. He was a member of the Lick Fork Baptist Church and a 30 year Ford Motor Company retiree.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of over fifty years, Rosie Lee Sexton Marlow; one son, Donald (Donnie) Luther Marlow; father and mother-in-law, Willard and Sarah Harness Sexton; brother, Buddy Marlow; sisters, Brenda Sue Marlow Crowley and Linda Lou Marlow; sisters-in-law, Loretta Pedigo and Phyllis Rector Marlow; brothers-in-law, Melton Harness, William Pennington and Cecil Crowley.
He is survived by his brothers and sisters, Rodney Marlow, Michael Marlow and wife Sharon, Joe Marlow and wife Rosalee, Cecil Ray Marlow and wife Toni, DeAnna Harness and Ronnie Teague, Nona Strunk, Marsha and Lillard Keeton, and Stasha Marlow; special nieces, nephews, relatives and friends; WT Strunk, Lois Griffith, Darrell and Marsha West family, Estel and Linda Jeffers, RL and Claudette Gibson and Jamie West.
The family will receive friends for visitation from 5:00 P.M. until time of funeral service at 8:00 P.M., Monday Evening, February 4, 2019 in the Chapel of Four Oaks Funeral Home in Huntsville with Pastor Pete Norman, Bro. Dudley Harness and Bro. Buster Marlow officiating. Music will be provided by Toni and Kim Marlow, Buster and Alice Marlow, Ashley Newport Riseden and Stasha Marlow. Graveside service will be at 1:00 P.M., Tuesday afternoon, February 5, 2019 at the Hazel Valley Cemetery in Oneida.
Pallbearers will be nephews, Brian Strunk, Darren Chambers, James, John, Ernie, Kevin, and Buster Marlow.
Honorary Pallbearers will be, Jamie West, Kojack West, Jimmy Byrd, Larry Wright, Roger Lawson, James Ray Moffett, Darrell West and Barney Moffett.
