Wartburg, TN (2018-11-18) The Obed Wild and Scenic River will be hosting a cleanup at the Nemo picnic area on Saturday, November 24, at 11:00 a.m. (ET). The hike is a moderately difficult 2.6 miles round trip leading to an overlook of the confluence of the Emory and Obed Rivers.
Participants should meet at the Nemo picnic area parking lot. The parking area is located along Catoosa Road on the right just prior to crossing Nemo Bridge. Please wear weather appropriate clothing and sturdy shoes and bring water and snacks. For more information, please contact the visitor center at (423) 346-6294.
