Wartburg, TN (2018-09-26) The Obed Wild and Scenic River will be celebrating the 50-year anniversary of the Wild and Scenic Rivers Act on Tuesday, October 2, with a short, ranger-led walk to the park’s Lilly Bluff Overlook. The interpretive walk will include topics on the park’s history, the signing and the implementation of the Wild and Scenic Rivers Act, and the flora and fauna located along the trail and the overlook. Please meet the park ranger at 3:30 p.m. (ET) at the Lilly Bluff Overlook, located just off of Ridge Road in Morgan County. This walk should conclude by 4 p.m.
