Huntsville, TN (2018-06-20) Three employees of the local District Attorney Generals Office recently were recognized for completing specialized training to provide better services to the victims of crime.
Victim Witness Coordinators, Lana Roberts, Daniel Barnett and Jessica Cain, who work for 8th District Attorney General Jared Effler, recently completed the Victim Witness Certification Program through the Tennessee District Attorneys General Conference. In completing the course, they became three of only thirteen coordinators to have completed the program across the State.
“I greatly appreciate the services that Daniel, Lana and Jessica provide to crime victims on a daily basis,” General Effler said. “Completion of this advanced training affirms their commitment to provide the best services possible to our constituents,” he added.
The certification required each coordinator to complete additional training in the areas of victim advocacy and service.
