Multiple 911 Calls Lead Officers to House Littered with Drug Paraphernalia

Huntsville, TN (2018-03-08) Multiple calls to 911 from a cell phone in the O and W Road area led officers to find a house littered with drug paraphernalia.

Amber Hill, 34, of Helenwood and Christopher St. John, 39, of Oneida were jailed early Thursday morning after authorities say they received multiple 911 hang-up calls from Hill from a location in the Oneida area.  According to arresting officer Zachary Strunk of the Scott County Sheriff’s Office, Hill was located in a home on O and W Road, along with a male suspect, identified as St. John.

Once Strunk and fellow officer Tyler Johnson entered the residence, which is located in the 1000 block of O and W Road, they quickly learned no emergency existed, but they did find drug paraphernalia strewn throughout the living area of house.  In his narrative, Strunk said drug paraphernalia was laying in plain sight, along with a small tin.  When opened by Hill, authorities say the can contained two small tubes that had a white powdery residue in them.  Hill allegedly picked up the can, opened it, took the two tubes out of the can, and handed the empty can to deputies.  She then, handed the tubes to them.

Hill and St. John were each charged with nine counts of possession of drug paraphernalia.  Hill was also charged with tampering with evidence.
