Oneida Man Identified as One of Two Persons Found in Burned Fentress County Home

Jamestown, TN (2017-10-06) An Oneida man has been identified as one of two people found in the burned out remains of a Fentress County home last Sunday night.

Ronnie D. Babb, 26, of Oneida has reportedly been identified by authorities as one of two persons found in the rubble of a single-family home last Sunday night.  According to published reports, Fentress County firefighters were called to 640 Deer Lodge Hwy, in Clarkrange around 7:00 p.m. (central) last Sunday night.  After the fire was brought under control, authorities reportedly recovered two bodies—Babb and a female, who has been reportedly identified as Cherry L. Dolinich, 35, of Clarkrange.

The investigation into the fire and cause of death, which is being conducted by the Fentress County Sheriff’s Office with the assistance of the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, is still ongoing and active.
