Roane State’s Scott County Campus to Offer FAFSA Event for Adults

Huntsville, TN (2017-10-06) Beginning in the Fall of 2018, eligible adults will be able to complete two years of community college tuition-free.  Those interested in attending college next fall should plan today.

Roane State Community College will host a special event in November to help adult students file their 2018-2019 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), which is the first step for most students.  The FAFSA event will be held at the W.H. Swain Scott County Center, 410 W.H. Swain Blvd. in Huntsville on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

“Getting your 2018-19 FAFSA finished now will be a great first step to take advantage of Reconnect,” campus director Sharon Baird said. “Plus, we would love to have you visit the campus and learn more about what Roane State has to offer.”

Those who attend are asked to bring their 2016 income tax return and their 2016 W-2 forms.
