Joe A. Lowe age 69, of the Fairview Community, passed away on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at his home. He was born April 29, 1947 in the Smokey Creek Community to the late Clate and Ernie Lowe. Joe married Mary Alice Lowe on March 16, 1972, they were married 44 years. Joe and Mary lived their lives in the Fairview Community, and he was a Member of the Smokey Creek Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by Brothers: Jackie Lowe and Tommy Lowe; Mother and Father-in-law: Jackson and Rachel Smithers.
He is survived by his loving Wife, Mary Alice Lowe of the Fairview Community; Children: Doyle Lowe and wife Bobbie of Jacksboro, Tennessee, Darrell Lowe and wife Tiffany of Norma, Tennessee; Brothers and Sisters: Girleane Stephens of Knoxville, Tennessee, Bessie White and husband Gene of Albany, Indiana, Della Johnson of Dunkirk, Indiana, Bertha Phillips and husband Homer of Wartburg, Tennessee, Bernetta Grayson of Eaton, Indiana, Lacy Lowe and wife Rose of Smokey, Tennessee; Grandchildren: Josh McCullah, Lacey Kay Lowe, Jessica McCullah, Joseph Lowe, Thomas McCullah, Jacob Lowe, Toby Lowe, Noah Lowe, Jermiah Lowe; Special Friends: Doyle Human and Mac Lloyd; several nieces, nephews, cousins and beloved family.
The family will receive friends for visitation from 5:00 P.M. until time of funeral services at 7:00 P.M, Saturday Evening, October 8, 2016 in the Chapel of Four Oaks Funeral Home in Huntsville with Bro. Michael Ray Jeffers and Bro. Donald Smithers Officiating. Music will be provided by J. C. & Geneva Lloyd. Graveside services will be at 12:00 Noon, Sunday Morning, October 9, 2016 at the Fairview Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Lacy Lowe, Hugh Laxton, Chris Hudson, Lance Lowe, Kelly Lowe and Joseph Lowe.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Jacob Lowe, Toby Lowe, Noah Lowe, Jermiah Lowe and Thomas McCullah.
